do you laugh when q-tip says "well I get plenty of tail..." on "god lives through?" although i've heard it a million times, i was playing the tape (yes) in my automobile the other day and it suddenly struck me as really weird and awkward and seemingly pointless...then he continued as if he didn't just turn into cookie monster for a line. maybe it was an inside joke...he should have kept it inside. well, i take that back...i laughed like a maniac as i rewound the tape repeatedly in awe of how i had never given it a second thought before. i can't be mad at a good laugh. the point is, that shit sounds stupid. maybe this should go under "things that are stupid."

man, this is one of my fav tip verses on the whole damn album. i think its overlooked cuz phife ripped this song so tough. but tip had lines like the above one i mentioned, "life seems to need me", "... the poetry relater/its hemmed like betsy ross...."
also, i think he's warmin up his voice to do the inner cookie monster twice in earlier sections when he goes, "i rock to the roll man" and "right there i sound redundant". and i don't know if he's cookie monster, louie armstrong or screamin jay hawkins. a combination of all three, perhaps
