The Bus

Oh yeah, its nothing like waiting on the bus. In the rain. For 45 minutes. But seriously... I have no problem catching the bus. Its way cheaper. Can't believe gas is $4 right now in Michigan (I'm sure its more in other places, but still). How much is it for me to catch the bus? Free... thanks to this wonderful card provided by SER Metro and Michigan Works. Yes, there are some benefits to being a single father. Now if only the damn bus would run on time....

roommate wanted

i live in a quaint lil' single family home in fashionable hazel park, MI. that isnt my house in the picture, but it looks like it. hazel park is a quiet neighborhood (aside from the screaming kids), just north of detroit...there's a breathtaking view from my back porch (which is a step) of all my neighbors' backyards. in the summer, sometimes you can see my 300+ lbs next door neighbor in a one-piece, floating in her above-ground pool...but for these cold winter days, i have the (maybe) slightly metally-challenged teenager from next door shoveling our driveway. i also have a fridge and a microwave for preparing dinner. but if you dont feel like cooking, there are numerous restaurants in a close vicinity to choose from: wendys, checkers, shell, speedway...and for night life, we have the cozy "end of the park" bar, where i found out how the local patrons really feel about black people.

here's a hair care place down the street

this is a microwave like the one i have
